Beyond The Glass makes delicious Victorian wine that doesn’t take itself too seriously. They are also obsessed with dogs and name each release after one they know.

I collaborated with studio The Child in Me to create a playful brand identity and build an eCommerce website to help legitimise their place in the wine market, while giving enough flexibility for future growth.

The logomark depicts a snout and a corkscrew - celebrating the unique intersection of wine and canine. The label shape and layout system was inspired by vintage wine barrels, while the illustration style uses native Australian textures to give the art depth and pay homage to the local vineyards.

To express their cheeky personality, the brand uses punchy copy with canine references. Since rebranding, BTG have tripled their number of stockists and are becoming a staple in the Australian wine scene.
